Artist - cindy riach

Cindy Riach lives with her partner on the Sunshine Coast in Gibsons B.C., overlooking the Georgia Strait and Vancouver Island.

She began painting in 1985 after completing her Ph.D. in Biomechanics and Motor Control. Cindy is currently retired from the Department of Kinesiology at McMaster University. She has attended many art courses and exhibited with the Dundas Valley School of Art, Central Ontario Art Association and the Pastel Artists of Ontario.

Cindy has had several shows in the past few years and her paintings are now in private collections across Canada. Recent trips to Europe, the Caribbean and Santa Fe NM., have triggered these bold new expressions of colour and form.
